papaBARTER LLC
We’re seeking a highly motivated programmer to assist in the development of papaBARTER.com, an innovative online community with a focus on connecting students across college campuses and with the local community. The job will focus on website programming and optimization, implementation of updates, minor debugging, and general maintenance of a high traffic site. We are looking to have someone join our team and collaborate on not only web building but also our user interface and marketing strategy as we move forward and grow. We have already gotten press coverage in the AP and on the ABC Evening News, and we are hoping to build on that with the launch of our new template in the next few weeks.
We're looking for candidates with strong development backgrounds and a special interest in online communities (phpbb forum based). Our system development is done in HTML, CSS, and php so you'll need a strong understanding of these languages. We're particularly interested in people who have experience with phpbb3 forums and their modification. However most importantly we're looking for people who are passionate about helping out fellow college students.
Lastly, we are willing to compensate the programmer with company equity shares dependent on your programming experience and level of commitment and involvement with the company. Hence we are specifically looking for programmers that intend to stay with the company.
