We made this site out of necessity. The book buyback program at our local book distributors is abysmal. $10 cashback for a $200 textbook, used 3 times? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Not in my town. And thus, papaBARTER was born. This is YOUR place to buy and sell everything from textbooks to tutoring, and anything in between.
With that in mind, there is going to be relatively limited moderation around here. We'll keep to ourselves if you keep things civil. Then again, if things get out of hand, posts get disrespectful, etc, we will have to come out of the woodwork and lay down the law. So please, keep it polite, we don't want to monitor this place heavily any more than you want the man looking over your shoulder at all times.
And of course, let us know if you have any suggestions for improvements to the site, as we're looking to make this as hassle free and user friendly as possible. So buy, sell, trade, and have fun!
